Onyx is our first kid by our buck , Zipper. Zipper’s lines are heavy with Rosasharn genetics, including his paternal granddam Rosaharn H B Kujira who claimed #1 milk producer with ADGA in 2014.
Her dam, Opal, was a FF in 2021 and has been a favorite of our 2020 does. Opal has a sweet and laid back disposition that is passed down from her grandsire – Fields of Grace Z Einstein. Onyx’s dam’s side has an impressive lineup of milking and show does. Her maternal side stems from one of our foundation does, Cabochon DJ Windstorm, aka Windy. You can find many progeny in our herd from miss Windy, who has proven to be a strong milker and solid dam (easy labors and great at dam raising).
Onyx has been one of our favorite 2021 doelings and we’re excited to watch her mature – even more excited to freshen for the first time in 2023!
