The Shady Oak Farm goat herd is in its early stages. Over the last few years, the herd has evolved and changed greatly as we work to reach our goals. We strive to build a herd that is healthy, hardy, and productive. Because we are in the beginning stages of building a herd, we may make decisions to sell adults and kids throughout the year, as well as retain most of our kids in a kidding season. We will work to keep our page as up to date as possible, but feel free to message us if there is anything you’re looking for that you don’t see listed.

Sales Policy

At this time, we do not take reservations. We do ask that if you are interested in a kid from a future kidding, to watch our site and Facebook page for availability or message us in the spring to find out availability. The goat/kid must be paid for in cash on the day of pick up (or prior). It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for transfer fees. If you choose a kid prior to weaning, we will require a deposit to hold the kid until ready for pick up.

All goats are sold as healthy at the time they leave the farm.  Any costs associated with shipping or transportation, including any health certificates, testing, crates, etc., are the responsibility of the buyer. Once they leave our farm, there are no guarantees to the future health, height, or quality of the animal. As always, we are happy to answer any questions prior and after buying from us!

Shady Oak Farm reserves the right to retain any kids born on our farm.

We are working on adding our 2022 Kids and updating photos. If you have any questions, please reach out!
